Who we are and how the tool works.

What LenderSearch is

LenderSearch is a white-label lender-match tool that Canadian mortgage brokers and agents license and put on their own branded page. Your audience answers a few questions and gets a real, ranked lender match with a plain-language prepayment-penalty comparison and mortgage calculators. Every result ends at "talk to your broker," so the visitor gets genuine value and you get the lead. It is a flat monthly software fee, never a per-lead or per-deal charge.

Who runs it

LenderSearch is a product of Prometheus Labs, an independent software company based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. It uses the same engine behind DIYmortgage.ca, adapted for brokers.

What is in the tool

• A matcher covering 161 Canadian lenders: the Big Six, monolines, credit unions, B-lenders, MICs, and reverse lenders, each with its prepayment-penalty method. The database is curated and continuously maintained.
• A prepayment-penalty analyzer and standard Canadian mortgage calculators (affordability, payment, and the federal qualifying-rate stress test).
• A library of 25 plain-language guides and a glossary of common mortgage terms.

Built compliance-first

LenderSearch is marketing software for licensed professionals, and every design choice keeps it there:

• Your licensed identity (name, title, licence number, and your brokerage's authorized name and licence number) renders on every page and every email as mandatory fields.
• Flat software fee only. LenderSearch is never paid per lead or per deal, takes no lender compensation, and never touches your client's file. Your advice stays the source of truth.
• No rate advertising by default, so APR-prominence rules are not triggered. The content is educational.
• The tool shows all matching lenders honestly, including direct-only ones, with broker-access lenders clearly badged.
• Your tool page is deliberately excluded from search indexing, so it converts the audience you send it and never competes with your own website.
